A plain-language notice

Privacy,
without the fine-print maze.

This service handles email addresses and the answers mail servers give about them. Here is what we keep, why, and how to reach us about it.

What we handle

FullArc customers check addresses from their own contact lists, and we record how each address’s mail server answers. FullArc Verify does not collect, buy, generate or sell addresses, and the checking server sends no email to anyone.

What we keep, and why

For each address checked: the address and its domain, the result and the reason, the mail server’s reply and code, which server answered, and when. One record per address is shared across FullArc, because whether a mailbox exists is a fact about the address, not about the customer who asked. Keeping it is what lets us avoid asking a mail server the same question again.

An address found invalid also goes on the do-not-email list of the customer who checked it, inside that customer’s FullArc account.

Answers are reused.

A definite answer is reused for 30 days, instead of connecting to the same mail server again each time a customer asks.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Its fonts are served from this server, not from a third party. If you send us an opt-out request, we use what you tell us only to act on it.

Deleting a record

To have the record for your address deleted, write to privacy@getfullarc-verify.com from that address, or give us another way to confirm it is yours.

To stop checks on a whole domain or mail host, use the opt-out instead.
